We Have a Winner! And a new contest…
1 March 2008 in UncategorizedCongratulations to Joaquin Garcia who won the free T-shirt drawing! The rest of you, be sure to go to the store on our home page and get your shirts! We have a few new designs I want to roll out, but I need to sell a few more of my current inventory first.
Well, the weather turned on us up here today. Heavy rain and grey skies are plentiful today. Just like I mentioned a couple of days ago. Oh well, there’s nothing we can do about the weather except deal with it or move! San Diego sounds good right about now.
It’s kind of funny, when I travel to different parts of the country, everybody thinks it’s better somewhere else. It’s the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence idea. People from hot, sunny climates (like Texas) think it’s great to come to the mountains and have rainy days. They like the variety of the weather, not the same old boring 80 degree sunny day. People from Seattle and Portland hear that and think those Texan’s are crazy!
It seems no matter where you go, people want to get out of here and move on to “better” things. One good quote I heard years ago from Jim Rohn was this: “One of life’s greatest challenges is to be happy with what you have, while in pursuit of what you want.” Good point.
My wife and I took our son to a local mall today, and I proudly wore my brown Dadsworld.com map shirt. I am still looking to see if I can find anyone else wearing one. Get yours now and wear it in public with pride! If I catch you wearing it out, you will be rewarded with a prize!
