The Younger Generation, India, China and other thoughts

18 April 2008 in Uncategorized

I’ve been thinking a lot lately about the younger generation.  The world is young, and several countries are set to play a much larger role in world economics.  India and China come to mind.  India, for example, has 500 million people under the age of 25.  400 million people under 20.  That’s more than the entire population of the United States of America, under 20!  Think of all of the brilliant minds and technological booms we are about to see.

Being a fan of Formula 1 racing, I see the marketing minds in the world’s richest sport.  I try to catch on to the trends, and where they believe advertising dollars are best spent.  Cricket, Football (soccer) and Auto Racing are HUGE sports in countries outside the U.S.A.  They offer big corporations great advertising platforms and the opportunity to get in front of literally hundreds of millions of potential customers.  The money spent in these sports dwarfs American sport budgets.  It is truly amazing to me.

Thinking about the younger generation and other countries in terms of Dadsworld.com is very exciting to me.  Think of all the potential members for our website!  I would love to have Dadsworld.com become a household name in these other countries too.  We already have members from several countries outside the U.S.A. and I hope to continue our growth.  I think every evening about the possibilites, and the future.  It is exciting, to say the least!

If you are from another country, or know someone who is, tell them about Dadsworld.com.  Let’s continue to expand our vision of involved, strong and loving Dads everywhere!  The World is waiting for us!
