New Dad of the Month interview coming soon

I hope your 2009 is shaping up to be a successfull year.  We are working on getting the latest Dad of the Month interview done.

Our area has been hit with a lot of flooding after the record snow fall, so I currently don’t have internet access on my desktop computers.  I am using my laptop with the air card, which works fine but is much slower than I can tolerate for long periods of time.  Hopefully our broadband will be back up and running soon.

Today we took the kids out to IKEA for a little exercise.  With all the bad weather we have been home bodies for too long now, and it was time to get out and about.  Our IKEA is located near the airport, so we did some plane watching as well.  We like to play a game when we are traveling in the car to keep our son interested.  We pick a color or type of car for him to spot, and keep him looking for new things to find.  We always yell “You found it!” when he points it out, and now he even yells “I found it!” himself.  Fun.
