March updates complete

Hello!  As you can see on the main site, we put up the new “Dad of the Month” interview.  Anthony Newman went to the University of Oregon just before me, and played in the NFL for 12 seasons.  He played for the Rams for most of those years, the Saints briefly and ended up his career with Oakland.  One of the things I find amazing about Anthony, is that even though he played safety on defense, he never had a serious injury throughout his career.  That’s just unheard of.  Anthony is a friend of mine who I consider a great Dad and family man.  He has a wonderful family, and we are happy to have him be a part of our website.  His company will be one of our vendors soon, so look for Anthony Newman’s Extreme Sports Camps in the member area soon!

Our new newsletter is up in the member area, so be sure to read it over.  We are going to be expanding the newsletter some next month.  Don’t miss the “10 Principles of Parenting” in this issue.

We put the review of the Saleen S7 up for March.  An All-American exotic car that is sure to turn heads!

We are also featuring a new article by our Personal Development author, Chris Widener.  He has some excellent advice and writes very well.  Be sure to go to the “Articles” tab and read some of his other stuff.

 We are continuing to work on getting publicity, so watch out!  You just might be reading about Dadsworld in a mainstream publication soon!

My wife found a neat children’s book today, and I liked it so much I am going to put it on the website.  It’s called “Daddies are for Catching Fireflies” by Harriet Ziefert.  The premis of the book is that “Daddies are Terrific!”  It’s really one of the few children’s books that not only shows Dads in a positive light, but actually FEATURES Dads!  Well done.  The book is published by Puffin books.  The more books we get out there that feature the Mom and the Dad being loving and caring, the better image our future generations will have of the FAMILY.

That reminds me to tell you that we changed the gear box in the center of the home page.  We added a category for “Books.”  We took out the little box at the bottom that used to have books, and moved them to the center section.
