Daylight savings time, Happy November and Lamborghini news!

Be sure to set your clocks back 1 hour tonight as daylight savings time ends.  Excpet in Hawaii and Arizona, and a few other select places.  There is an area in Indiana that does not change their clocks with the rest of us.  I’ve been there and was always thrown off regarding what time it really was!  I always enjoy the extra hour of sleep, but it takes me a few DAYS to recover in the spring when we lose that hour.

My roomate in college was from Maui, Hawaii.  He was puzzled by the practice of daylight savings time.  I remember telling him about it one night in our dorm room, and he could hardly believe it.  He was very hesitant to “mess with mother nature.”  He was superstitious about a lot of things, and told me that “Howlies” had strange habits.  We had a lot of great conversations over that year.  I did enjoy the sticky rice that he would make and he introduced me to the music group C & K (Celio and Capono.)  I introduced him to snow and snow skiing!  He didn’t even own a jacket.  Really.  We went shopping for jackets and it was the funniest thing.  We had a good snow storm that year on campus, and he and the other Hawaiian’s went crazy!  Snowball fights seemed to never end (long after many students tired of being beemed with ice balls, the Hawaiian’s and myself kept up the onslaught.  :)   After taking him to Mt. Bachelor in Central Oregon, he was hooked.  He loved the snow, although he preferred to be warm!

Also, check out the new Lamborghini Estoque review.  It will be built in about 4 years, a true sport sedan and only the second 4 door vehicle Lamborghini has ever produced.  23inch rear wheels and 22 inch fronts should get the attention of any American muscle car lover.  If you’ve got the bread, put a note on your calendar for 2012!  Go to www.dadsworld.com for the review.
