Dadsworld membership grows, Tell-a-friend contest starts tomorrow!
7 November 2008 in UncategorizedI forgot to mention earlier that last month set a record for our most unique visitors and most membership sign-ups at www.dadsworld.com in a month. We now have members in 11 different countries! Just this week we added members in El Salvador, the Netherlands, Nigeria, and Australia. Thanks for supporting Dadsworld.com! Be sure to help us spread the word and promote involved fathers. They deserve promoting and our children need them. Like our shirts say, “Dad for life.” That’s a commitment worth making.
Another point I forgot to mention, when talking about Daylight savings time. I used to really enjoy that extra hour of sleep that you get in the fall when we set the clocks back. Unfortunately, my 2 small children never got the memo. Nope. Instead of waking up at 6:30am like usual, my son was wide awake and ready to go at 5:30am. Not exactly what I had in mind.
I have said it many times before, and I will say it again… One of the hardest things about having kids in the early months, is the lack of sleep. Sleep deprivation is TOUGH. Especially if you wait until your late 30’s to have kids like my wife and I did. When I was in college in my early 20’s, I could go all night without sleeping and be fairly normal the next day. Heck, that was commonplace in my dorm at the University of Oregon. 20 year old bodies recover very quickly. Get into your late 30’s though, and it’s a different story altogether. I require more sleep and it’s much more difficult to function on an hour here and an hour there of sleep. I like the solid 7+ hours I used to get (before kids.) 8 hours is even better.
But those are distant memories for the time-being.
Tomorrow will be the start of a tell-a-friend contest for the DVD 7 Steps to Baby Bliss. The contest will run for 1 week. Whoever uses the ‘tell-a-friend’ tool on the home page the most, to tell their friends about Dadsworld will win the DVD. Saturday the 8th through Saturday the 15th is the contest period. Go to the ‘tell-a-friend’ feature on the homepage of Dadsworld.com and enter your friends and families email’s. They will get a message about Dadsworld.com, helping spread our message of promoting involved Dads. You can only enter 3 emails at a time, so go back often. We don’t sell the email address’s or anything like that. It is purely a contest to get the word out to more people about our fantastic website!
Good luck!
Have a great day!
