Dadsworld Dad of the Month for May is…

30 April 2008 in Uncategorized

We have a new Dad of the Month for May, 2008.  Kent Mortensen lives in Meridian, Idaho with his beautiful wife and 5 children.  I have known Kent for 15 years and know what a solid, loving and fun Dad he is.  Kent is all about family values, hard work and doing the right thing.  It really shows up in how well behaved, polite and intelligent his children are.

He started a carpet cleaning business in Boise, Idaho back in 1993 and has turned it into a massive success.  System Kleen is now one of Boise’s premiere Fire and Flood Restoration business’ with 15 trucks and over 35 employees, and they focus on carpet and duct cleaning.  Kent has a very entrepreneurial spirit, and is always looking for a challenge.

His family is very inspirational to my wife and I.  They epitomize the loving, busy family.  It’s so nice to see a large family that really cares about each other.  It is also amazing to see how these kids treat others with respect and kindness, something a lot of other teens could use some lessons on.

Kent and his brother recently bought a historic property in Idaho (the Albion Normal School) and are in the process of restoring the buildings and grounds.  They will be hosting corporate retreats, family reunions, etc. at the site.

We are honored to have Kent as our May Dad of the Month, and I encourage you to take a look at his websites.  www.albioncampusgrove.com and www.systemkleen.com

Be sure to read his interview on the home page.  Kent is the 4th Dad of the Month, a feature that I am particularly proud of.  You can view them all through the “Dad of the Month Archives,” located in the Dad of the Month feature.

Don’t forget that tomorrow is our Monthly T-shirt drawing!  Be sure you are signed up as a Dadsworld.com member for your chance to win!
