All good points. I’ve learned many of these lessons through my own life experiences. I’ve applied them to the opportunity to help people living paycheck-to-paycheck develop a more healthy relationship with money by asking two simple questions:

1) What do you want to do?
2) What do you want to spend?

Having a plan (or as you call it in Lesson #2, a Vision) is the bedrock for lasting change.

I couldn’t agree more. That is a goal of mine as well. We wanted to take our daughter this October for her 4th birthday, but now my wife is pregnant and due a month before her birthday so we will probably have to wait until next year. I want to make those lasting memories for my daughter and any other kids I am blessed with. My dad wasn’t there for me and I vowed to be a better dad then my father. I have succeeded thus far , but I am far from perfect. I just pray my kids grow up better than I did. Family vacations and family memories is a great way for that to happen.

Love the story, Zig is a wonderful person.
I never met him but once i wrote a letter to him and never dreamed i would get a letter from him personally. He took the time to read it and reply and that really touched my heart. I want to be like him, we need more people like Zig Ziglar in the world.

Doesn’t surprise me a bit! I have had the pleasure of hearing Mr. Ziglar speak many times. I find his words coming out of my mouth quite often. What a great story. I love it!

Isn’t that amazing – the power of the spoken word – spoken with sincerity that is. Zig Ziglar has so much integrity that even young kids can spot the real thing! Thanks for reminding us the importance of positive words spoken into someone else’s lives.

I love Zig! He has been changing my life like that ever since I was a little kid and my dad brought the I Can home! Thank God for Zig and for his willingness to live life the way he does! He definitely makes this world a better place!
