Chrysler unveils the 2010 Dodge EV

Go to our main webpage at www.dadsworld.com and check out the new review of the all new electric car coming in less than 2 years.  The extended range electric vehicle promises range of 150-200 miles, which should work out well for commuters.

“One of the most pleasant discoveries driving EVs (electric vehicles) is the lack of noise. Okay, some of us love the roar of a big V-8, but you’re going to have to get used to silence in an EV — or at least something close. What you experience might be described as the “stumps-in-the-woods” syndrome. Suddenly, without the roar of an IC (internal combustion) engine, you start noticing everything else, like tires, wind, and accessory drive systems. But the overall sound level is enough to make it possible to be heard in a whisper.”  As a Principal Real Estate Broker, that is very appealing.  I can’t tell you how frustrating road noise is driving on concrete freeways with clients in the car.  It quickly turns into a yelling match, or no communicating at all… instead of a normal conversation.

I think we are going to see a number of EV’s in the coming 5 years from several manufacturers.  I just hope we can figure out a sane way to produce the electricity that will be required to run all of these vehicles!
